I am Mannan, Mechatronics & Control Engineer and I have completed Masters in Mechanical Engineering from Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST), South Korea. With a background in Mechatronics, Control and Mechanical Engineering, my academic journey has equipped me with the necessary technical foundation and problem-solving skills to excel in multidisciplinary research that combines engineering, computer science, and AI based data-driven solutions.
My PhD project at Politecnico di Torino (PoliTo), Automated Data Collection for Progressive Collapse Analysis of Communities and Infrastructure Using UAVs, strongly aligns with my interest in UAV technologies and machine learning for real-world applications. What excites me most is the integration of artificial intelligence, real-time data processing, and advanced visualization with cutting-edge drone technologies. The project offers the opportunity to conduct impactful research aimed at enhancing the resilience and long-term sustainability of communities and critical infrastructure.
I chose FOURIER project because of interdisciplinary and international framework of the project, combined with the mentorship of experts and partner institutions, offers an ideal environment to achieve these aspirations while growing as a researcher and innovator.
