Topic: Decision support tool for Resilient Communities using the social dimension
Beneficiary: FACTORSOC
With a background in Psychology and a specialisation in Legal Psychology, I bring expertise in criminology, clinical psychology, and forensic assessment. I have gained professional experience in forensic evaluations, geriatric psychiatry, neuropsychological assessment, and research coordination through my work at the Center for Diagnostics and Evaluation in Frankfurt, the Center for Mental Health in Old Age in Mainz, and the Central Institute of Mental Health in Mannheim.
My doctoral project, Decision support tool for resilient communities using the social dimension, explores the social and psychosocial components of resilience. It focuses on key factors such as risk perception, social capital, preparedness behaviours, and crisis communication, and develops tools to monitor these dimensions in real time. Drawing on case studies from Utrecht and the ArrĂ¡bida region, the project aims to strengthen the assessment of community resilience.
I was drawn to FOURIER for its applied, international focus on resilience research and its strong mobility and training opportunities. I aim to advance real-time methods for analysing psychosocial resilience and contribute to strategies that link scientific evidence with community needs across Europe.
