I am Yoosef, a PhD researcher in the FOURIER project, where I work on advanced AI methods for evaluating the state of interdependent socio-physical systems. My background includes an M.S. in Information and Communication Technology for Internet and Multimedia from the University of Padova, as well as experience in multidisciplinary AI projects across academia and industry.
My project focuses on developing AI-driven early warning systems (EWS) that improve situational awareness in complex adaptive systems such as cities. As physical and social infrastructures grow increasingly interconnected and as autonomous systems become part of daily life these methods help anticipate disruptions and support proactive measures to enhance system resilience.
I joined FOURIER because it provides a unique interdisciplinary environment to explore the dynamics of socio-technical systems and to translate advanced AI research into practical tools that help communities manage risks more effectively.
